“Perfect Season”

Triple Threat vs. Hoopaholics
WOMEN’S DIVISION

Hoopaholics jumped to a surprising 6-0 start but there was no way Triple Threat was going to be denied of their perfect season. The defending Champions completed the perfect season with a 60-34 win over rookie team, Hoopaholics.

Newly named GM of the Season, Elizabeth Skiles, finished with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Sam Cardeno, the Women’s Division MVP this season, finished with a game-high 19 points and 6 assists. Nykia Hall added 15 points and 3 assists while Kim Nakamura finished with 11 points and 4 rebounds. Triple Threat used a 12-6 run in the 1^st half and never looked back as they had a sizeable lead over Hoopaholics throughout the contest.

Jackie Bayona logged a near double-double with 9 points and 13 rebounds while GM Jackie Espiritu finished with 7 points and 3 assists. Adrie Hooks logged 12 points and 6 rebounds.

Wildcats vs. Sharp Shooters
WOMEN’S DIVISION

Former Women’s Division Finals MVP, Monica Tokoro, led Wildcats with a near triple double as Sharp Shooters fall to Wildcats, 103-30.

Tokoro finished with 41 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 steals. Center Wendy added 29 points and 10 boards while Victoria finished with 25 points and 8 rebounds. The team will play against Hoopaholics in the 1^st Round of the Playoffs.

Sharp Shooters was led by Arliss Enriquez and she finished with 11 points and 2 steals. Desiree Guzman finished with 9 poins and 3 three-pointers while Lala Galica finished with 9 points and 6 steals.

Relics vs. Primetime
PLATINUM DIVISION

Primetime showed up with 2 players who weren’t on the roster and league officials ruled the game a forfeit after Relics took on Primetime in the Season Finale.

One player, Diego C., played for Primetime previously and he’s expected to be on the roster come Playoff time. The two players didn’t have basketball jerseys and played in wife beaters.

“That game was more like a scrimmage, there was no way we could let that game be an official game,” said the League Commissioner, Hanz Jimenez. “We tried to make it work, they didn’t have jerseys, one guy NEVER played for Primetime… we could only bend the rules so much.”
